National Hospitality Day is on Sunday the 19th of September and is a chance to celebrate the awesome hospitality industry that we have in the UK. 

Whether you work in hospo, have loved ones in the industry, or just want to go out and support a local business, here’s some of our favourite places to explore.

1. Sandymouth Holiday Resort - Bude

This holiday park is located in beautiful Bude on the Cornish coast. If you’re looking for a getaway to escape the hustle and bustle, Bude is an amazing spot with beautiful beaches and friendly locals.

Pop by for a proper Cornish cream tea, or some fresh local seafood. A perfect place to put your feet up and enjoy the weekend.

2.  Big feed - Scotland 

We’re getting hungry just thinking about this one. The Big Feed is a team of travelling foodies who bring incredible streetfood to Glasgow and beyond. 3. Coal and Cotton - Manchester 

This Manchester venue is one of the most exciting places to grab a sophisticated lunch. Think huge British Pub with added international influence to keep the menu exciting. It’s a great place to kick back and relax, with a warm vibe and a popular Sunday roast.

4. Stag Coffee - Cardiff 

Stag is tucked away from Cardiff’s city centre, and brings a homely touch to a classic coffee shop. Cosy and welcoming with an amazing food menu, Stag is a great place to catch up with old friends or make new ones. 

The friendly locals are always a pleasure to chat to, and if you want a quiet moment to yourself to sit and read a book then it’s a great place for that too. If you’re not careful you can end up getting stuck in one of their comfy leather armchairs all day.

5. Print House Bar - London

This London restaurant is a great place to rest your head after a busy day in the Capital. Complete with a large dining area and a big outside bar, you’ll find yourself quite at home in this lively venue. A great place to enjoy a few drinks with friends and catch the last of the summer rays on the terrace.

6. Tapri Indian Bar & Grill - Sutton Coldfield

If you love Indian food, Tapri Indian Bar & Grill is a great place to soak up the sunshine in the outdoor beer garden, watch some sport and indulge in great Indian food. With a classy menu, amazing cocktails and even their own lager on tap, you’ll find something for everyone here.

7. Tenkaichi Sushi and Noodle Bar - Cardiff

There is nothing better than good Japanese food, and if you're in the mood for some of the best sushi in Cardiff then Tenkaichi is the place to go. With delicious food, a relaxed setting and a friendly team, you’ll feel very welcome when you visit.

8.  The Bottle Garden - Leicester 

If you’re after a bar that has an exquisite drinks menu, you won’t be disappointed by The Bottle Garden. Set in an urban garden landscape with a unique gin menu, there’s something for every taste. This is the perfect place to sip cocktails in an elegant setting.

9. Eddie Rocks - West Wales

Character and charm meets rock ‘n’ roll in this unique West Wales venue. Once a nightclub, this bar has converted to a seated service post-COVID, with the help of Yoello. Now that restrictions are easing they’re opening their classic DJ nights back up with the added benefit of a seated outdoor area. A perfect spot for an evening of fun!
