The first large scale event to take place in Wales since March 2020 gets exclusively powered by Yoello
An outdoor Eid prayer is being held at Cardiff Castle as the first in a series of mass gathering events from a Welsh Government pilot scheme.
Around 500 people are expected to attend the event which will take place on either Wednesday 12th or Thursday 13th of May 2021, depending on the moon sighting.
The Eid prayer will be the only outdoor Eid event in Wales, and has been organised by the Muslim Council of Wales to look at how outdoor religious events can be performed safely as Wales comes out of lockdown.
The event is free to attend, however attendees must provide proof of a negative lateral flow test taken at home a week prior to attending as well as a negative rapid test within 24 hours of the event.
The event will feature a family picnic area with food vendors providing food and soft beverages through the Yoello Order & Pay platform.
